A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Sous Chef to join a renowned Italian-inspired restaurant in East London, with a focus on whole-animal butchery, hand-rolled pasta, and wood-fired cooking.

The Role
We are seeking a Senior Sous Chef to join the team at a renowned Italian-inspired restaurant in Shoreditch. This is a high-volume, quality-led operation with a focus on people and process – not super creativity. The successful candidate will support the Head Chef in leading a brigade of 30 chefs, managing service lunch and dinner, and delivering exceptional food quality and consistency.

The Senior Sous Chef Role

Support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team of 30 chefs.Drive consistency, food quality, and service standards.Manage ordering, stock control, food safety, and compliance.Train, mentor, and develop the kitchen team.Step up and run the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.Work closely with the Head Chef on operational delivery.

The Ideal Senior Sous Chef

Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, quality-led restaurant.Italian cuisine experience is highly desirable – product or process focused.Strong leadership and people management skills.Calm, organised, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Commercially aware with good financial acumen.Available for an immediate start
