Job Title:             Operations Manager – Events Venue
Salary:                 Up to £70,000
Location:             East Sussex

My client is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of a events venue in East Sussex. This is a senior, hands-on role covering venue operations, facilities, events, food & beverage outlets, compliance and commercial performance, with responsibility for ensuring the venue delivers exceptional experiences while maximising revenue.

What You’ll Do

Lead the team and oversee day-to-day operationsManage facilities, maintenance, contractors and suppliersMange the Health & Safety, compliance, licensing and riskOversee food & beverage outlets, events and commercial hiresManage budgets and drive operational efficienciesDriving salesWork closely with all departments to deliver outstanding eventsBuild relationships with clients, members and key stakeholdersIdentify opportunities to grow commercial event revenue

What You’ll Bring

Proven experience in venue, hospitality and eventsStrong leadership and team management skillsEvent operations and customer service experienceCommercial awareness with a proven ability to drive revenueGood knowledge of Health & Safety, compliance and facilities managementHighly organised, confident and commercially mindedExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills
