Salary: $100,000–$130,000 + 10% Bonus

We’re partnering with a well-established retail group in Indianapolis that’s looking for a strong HR leader to take ownership of the local HR function.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be close to the business, working with leaders and employees every day while also managing and supporting an HR team. You’ll have a broad HR remit and the opportunity to really shape how the local business supports, develops and retains its people.

About You

You’ve built solid HR experience within a larger, fast-moving organizationYou’ve managed an HR team and enjoy being a hands-on leaderYou’re comfortable working with both hourly and salaried employeesYou know your way around employee relations, recruiting, training, retention and complianceYou have experience with payroll and benefitsYou’re approachable, organized and comfortable having the sometimes difficult conversationsYou’re someone the business can rely on and who enjoys building strong relationships

What You’ll Do

Lead the local HR function and manage the HR teamPartner with managers and leadership on employee relations and performanceOversee recruiting, onboarding, retention, training and complianceSupport payroll and benefits across the businessWork closely with the corporate HR team while staying connected to the local operationCoach managers through employee issues and performance plansHelp improve HR processes and create a consistent employee experienceBe a trusted point of contact for employees and leadership
