Position: Full-time

Our client is an established physiotherapy provider with clinics and partner locations across Northern Ireland. They are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior MSK Physiotherapist to join their growing clinical team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MSK clinician who enjoys combining hands-on treatment with progressive rehabilitation and who is keen to continue developing their clinical skills. There will also be opportunities to support the development of colleagues through mentoring, training and shared learning.

The Role

You will assess and manage a varied MSK caseload, providing high-quality, individualised treatment and rehabilitation based around each patient's needs and goals.

The clinical approach focuses on three key stages:

Reduce pain and symptomsRestore movement, strength and functionReturn patients to work, sport and everyday life

You will work as part of an experienced clinical team while also having the confidence to work independently at partner locations, including GP surgeries.

Alongside your own caseload, there will be opportunities to contribute to the wider development of the clinical team. This may include supporting junior and less experienced physiotherapists, contributing to in-service training, sharing clinical knowledge and helping promote consistent clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and manage a varied MSK caseload, including more complex presentationsDeliver high-quality manual therapy and progressive rehabilitationDevelop individualised treatment plans based on patient needs and goalsSupport patients through the Reduce–Restore–Return pathwayPlan and progress rehabilitation programmes appropriatelySupport return-to-work, sporting and functional goalsMaintain accurate clinical records and professional standardsWork independently at partner locations and across clinic settingsShare clinical knowledge and support colleagues where appropriateContribute to mentoring, case discussions and in-service trainingAssist with the development of junior and newly qualified physiotherapistsContribute to clinical audits, reflective practice and continuous improvementHelp maintain consistently high standards of patient care across the wider clinical team

About You

We are looking for a confident and motivated physiotherapist with:

A minimum of 3 years' experience in private MSK practice or a full-time professional sports environmentStrong MSK assessment and clinical-reasoning skillsExcellent manual therapy and rehabilitation skillsExperience managing a varied MSK caseloadExperience progressing rehabilitation and supporting return-to-sport or return-to-function goalsThe ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a wider teamExcellent communication and organisational skillsA patient-centred approach and genuine commitment to achieving excellent outcomesA desire to continue developing clinically and professionallyAn interest in supporting and mentoring colleaguesHCPC registration and appropriate professional membership

Candidates with more advanced clinical experience and previous mentoring, supervision or clinical leadership experience will also be considered, with scope to take on additional responsibilities within the team.
