I am hiring on behalf of a luxury hotel in Chicago for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the leadership team within a high-volume, upscale dining operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Restaurant General Manager with the daily operation of the restaurant.Lead service and ensure consistently high guest-service standards.Supervise, coach, and develop front-of-house colleagues.Assist with scheduling, staffing, training, and performance management.Monitor service quality and address guest feedback professionally.Support financial, labour, and inventory controls.Work closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth service.Assist with events, private dining, and other F&B operations.Ensure all health, safety, and operational standards are maintained.

Ideal Candidate:

Previous supervisory or Assistant Manager experience in a luxury hotel, upscale restaurant, or fine-dining environment.Strong understanding of restaurant service and front-of-house operations.Excellent guest-service and communication skills.Confident leading and motivating a team.Highly organized with strong attention to detail.Hospitality-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
