Mobile Maintenance Engineer

Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer – Commercial Sites – Bristol / South West & Wales – Up to £45,000

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer, ideally with an electrical bias, to cover a portfolio of commercial properties across Bristol, the South West, South Wales and West Wales.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and general building services works across a varied portfolio of sites. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working independently, travelling between sites and dealing with a variety of maintenance requirements.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.Electrical maintenance, fault-finding and minor installation works.Lighting, emergency lighting and power distribution.Testing and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.Basic mechanical maintenance, including pumps, motors, AHUs and FCUs.Carry out general plumbing and building fabric maintenance.Monitor and investigate faults with building services equipment.Complete routine plant and equipment checks.Respond to reactive maintenance issues and breakdowns.Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts and contractors.Complete maintenance records, job sheets and compliance documentation.Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with relevant Health & Safety procedures.Travel between sites across Bristol, the South West, South Wales and West Wales.
Hours & Package:Salary up to £45,000 per annumMonday to Friday – 08:00–17:00Call-out rota – details to be confirmedCompany vehicle + fuel card22 days annual leave + bank holidays Overtime opportunitiesOngoing training and development
Requirements:Electrically or mechanically qualified – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or above18th Edition desirable for electrically biased candidatesProven experience within commercial building maintenanceMulti-skilled building services experienceStrong electrical or mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skillsFull UK driving licenceGood communication and customer service skillsMust be able to travel across the required area
