Salary: $70,500–$80,000

I am hiring on behalf of a luxury property in Menlo Park, California, seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure consistently high standards across guest rooms and public areas.

This is a hands-on leadership position for an individual who understands luxury hospitality and can effectively lead a housekeeping team while maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily housekeeping operations and team assignments.Supervise, coach, and support housekeeping associates and supervisors.Inspect guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure luxury standards are consistently maintained.Coordinate room readiness with Front Office and other departments.Assist with scheduling, staffing, training, and performance management.Maintain appropriate levels of linen, supplies, and housekeeping inventory.Ensure proper key control and departmental procedures are followed.Address guest requests and housekeeping-related concerns promptly.Assist with departmental projects and operational initiatives.Support the Director of Housekeeping and assume additional responsibility when required.

Requirements:

Previous housekeeping supervisory or management experience in an upscale or luxury hotel.Strong understanding of hotel housekeeping operations.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Hands-on approach with a strong attention to detail.Spanish-speaking ability is required.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.Professional presentation and a genuine commitment to maintaining high guest service standards.
