I'm recruiting a General Manager for a unique hospitality and training operation in South London.

You'll combine commercial restaurant leadership with training and people development, helping individuals gain recognised hospitality qualifications, build confidence and develop the skills needed for future employment.

This is a role with real purpose, but it still needs a commercially strong General Manager who understands great food, brilliant service, P&L and running a high-quality restaurant operation.

The Operation

High-quality restaurant and hospitality environment.Strong focus on food and guest experience.Commercially operated alongside structured training.Up to 30+ learners at a time.Established management and culinary team.Unique secure working environment.

The Role

Lead the overall restaurant and training operation.Develop, coach and motivate learners and employees.Maintain excellent food, service and guest standards.Oversee structured hospitality training and development.Manage budgets, P&L, stock and commercial performance.Lead recruitment, performance and team development.Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.Own food safety, H&S and operational compliance.

About You

Experienced General Manager from a quality restaurant or hospitality backgroundStrong knowledge of food, service and guest experience.Proven P&L and commercial management experience.Experienced training and developing people.Confident leading a complex operation and multiple teams.Calm, resilient and an excellent communicator.Strong food safety and operational knowledge.Empathetic, professional and comfortable working within clear boundaries.

Experience within training, education, social enterprise or purpose-led hospitality would be beneficial, but strong commercial restaurant leadership is essential.

You'll also need to be comfortable working within a highly regulated and secure environment, with the successful candidate required to complete comprehensive security vetting.
