Maintenance Technician Apprentice

We are seeking an ambitious apprentice to join our team, gaining hands-on experience in:

Production line breakdown response Machine installation Planned preventative maintenance—both electrical and mechanical

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to become a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician through our Engineering Apprenticeship Programme. Ideal for those passionate about engineering and eager to build a career in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

What you will be doing:

You will work within our production facility, gaining hands-on experience in: Electrical and mechanical fault-finding and breakdown repairs on a wide range of production equipment Planned maintenance routines to ensure machinery operates at peak performance and downtime is minimised Installation and commissioning of new machinery and automation systems, including robotics, conveyors, and CNC machinery Collaborating with experienced engineers on emergency repairs and continuous improvement projects Developing an in-depth understanding of our automated production systems, including PLC programming, industrial robotics, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Interpreting technical engineering drawings to support diagnostics and machine upgrades Identifying hazards and applying safe working practices in line with Health and Safety regulations

Qualifications Offered:

Training:

MOET Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

3 x 5-week practical training modules in hand fitting, turning and milling  Level 3 Extended Diploma End-point assessment

Full time position upon completion of apprenticeship
