LVAP Electrical Shift Engineer – Continental Shift – Commercial Building – King’s Cross, London – up to £50,000 Per Annum
My client is seeking an LVAP Electrical Shift Engineer to be based at a large commercial building located in King’s Cross, London. The successful candidate will be electrically biased and hold a relevant electrical qualification (C&G / NVQ), with experience working within a commercial building environment.
The engineer will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance across this commercial building, alongside general building services and plant monitoring. In return, the company offers a competitive salary of up to £50,000, further training and career progression.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Carry out LV electrical maintenance and fault-finding across the buildingLighting – small installations, fault-finding, lamping, changing ballasts, control panels and power distributionEmergency lightingAir Conditioning – AHUs / FCUs, including filter changes and cleaningChillers – resetting and basic monitoringWater treatment – temperature checks (not dosing)Monitor mechanical plantPlumbing – including unblocking toiletsPumps and motorsBMS system monitoringUndertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional mannerBe proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve themEnsure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as requiredMaintain informal communication with client staff regarding service levels and issuesReport service-affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the clientRemain flexible regarding site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competencyBe fully aware of relevant Health & Safety and general legislative mattersEscort specialist subcontractorsRequirements
