Job Title: Event Operations Manager – 5 Star Hotel

Salary: Up to £50,000 + Service Charge

Location: West of London

We are working with a leading luxury hospitality group seeking an Event Operations Manager for a prestigious 5 star Hotel west of London. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to lead the smooth running of the Events Operations department, delivering exceptional service across a diverse range of luxury corporate and social events.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Events Operations team, ensuring consistently high standards of service and guest satisfactionOversee the set-up and operation of event spaces, ensuring all rooms and facilities are presented to the required standardsConduct daily pre-shift briefings, allocate responsibilities and ensure effective staffing levels across eventsWork closely with all departments to ensure seamless communication and event deliveryManage departmental stock, ordering, payroll and operating costs in line with financial targetsManage training, development and performance reviews, supporting the team to achieve their individual and departmental goalsMonitor guest feedback and service levels, identifying opportunities to improve the overall guest experienceManage agency staffing requirements and forecasts, ensuring staffing levels meet business demands

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a similar Events Operations role within a luxury or 5 star hotelStrong knowledge of event operations and high-end food and beverage serviceExcellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events and prioritiesCommercially aware with experience managing costs, payroll, stock and budgetsConfident in handling guest feedbackStrong coaching, training and team development skillsPassionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and luxury service standards
