Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant
Dispensing of medication to patients; Over-the-counter sales of non-prescription medication; Check and monitor prescription slips; Health & safety responsibility; Rotation of stock; Use of patient record systems and use of smart cards; Data entry relating to medication; Labelling and dispensing; Accuracy and attention to detail; Working within a team environment; Liaison with doctors, surgery and health professionals; Completion of apprenticeship work on time.
Training:
Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 and Functional Skills if required.
Training Outcome:
Pharmacy Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship A possible permanent position within the organisation
