Childcare Apprenticeship - Prestwich
As a Childcare Apprentice, you will join our friendly nursery team and gain valuable hands-on experience caring for and supporting children aged 0-5. Working alongside experienced early years professionals, you will help create a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children can learn, play and develop.
You will support the delivery of play-based activities linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), build positive relationships with children and their families, and learn how to support children’s individual development.
As a Childcare Apprentice, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the care, learning and development of children aged 0-5 in a safe and stimulating environment Helping to plan and deliver fun, engaging and age-appropriate play-based activities in line with the EYFS Supporting children with their individual development and helping them make progress Building positive and professional relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues Supporting the maintenance of a safe, clean and welcoming nursery environment, both indoors and outdoors Assisting with the accurate completion and maintenance of nursery records, including attendance, accidents and incidents Following nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety and emergency procedures Working as part of the nursery team and supporting colleagues with day-to-day activities and routines Completing all required learning, coursework and assessments as part of the Level 2 apprenticeship programme Undertaking other reasonable duties as directed by the Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery ManagerTraining:

Training Outcome:
