Business Administration Apprentice

As you develop within the role, your responsibilities will include:

Providing general administrative support to the Operations team and wider business Supporting Project Managers with project administration, documentation and updates Maintaining accurate customer, project and business records, folders and systems Helping to track project activities, outstanding actions and key dates Assisting with raising and processing purchase orders Tracking outstanding orders and contacting suppliers for updates when required Recording supplier confirmations, expected dates and other relevant purchasing information Helping keep colleagues and customers updated with relevant information where required Managing shared emails and directing queries to the appropriate person Updating tasks and information within business systems, including Asana and Zoho CRM Preparing and updating documents, Excel reports and other business information Supporting Sales administration, including helping to prepare quotes and proposals Communicating with colleagues across different departments to help keep activities coordinated Identifying delays, discrepancies or queries and raising these with the appropriate colleague or manager Supporting other general office and administrative activities as required

Your responsibilities will develop gradually as your knowledge, skills and confidence grow, and you will have support from experienced colleagues throughout.



Training:

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
To meet the requirements of the Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship programme you will need to spend 6 hours a week of your time undertaking off-the-job learning, which will include:

Formal training, including online learning and internal learning events 1-2-1s with your coach and line manager Observing and shadowing colleagues Writing up learning reflections for your portfolio

Training Outcome:

Full-time employment.
