Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship

To Maintain equipment maintenance records, aligning with GMP/GDP To monitor production efficiency, identify and execute process improvements Deliver electrical, mechanical, PLC, and instrumentation maintenance across the site on all equipment To correctly diagnose any faults and implement sustainable recovery/improvement dealing with the root cause To respond promptly and effectively to ensure quick resolution to any equipment issues to minimise any downtime, quality, and efficiency problems To provide technical support in response to breakdowns on process and IT systems, plant and equipment, including excellent fault-finding techniques To review, improve and apply effective planned maintenance. To Increase available line capacity through OEE Participate constructively as a member of the department, keeping everyone informed and proactively share your knowledge and expertise within the team Proactively taking responsibility to support the wider production team achieve their goals and targets Any other activity/tasks as and when requested

Based in the production area you will be mainly responsible for:

Mechanical Maintenance Diagnosing electrical Mechanical faults Preventative maintenance Responsible for providing the relevant supervisor/departmental manager with progress updates and raise concerns where necessary Ensure all Health and Safety protocols are followed Be able to work as part of a team Keep work area in a neat and tidy fashion Clear and accurate completion of all company documentation A willingness to learn new skills and work under own initiative

Training:

You will be working towards a Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician standard.

 

Training Outcome:

Upon successfully completing the apprenticeship, there may be a permanent role available.
