Level 3 Building Services Technician Apprenticeship

This paid apprenticeship offers a dynamic environment to learn essential technical competencies while contributing to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of building operations. You will gain hands-on experience working with cutting-edge tools and software, preparing you for a successful career in building services engineering and systems management.

Duties:

Use AutoCAD and Revit to create detailed schematics and system layouts for building projects Support system design processes by applying principles of systems engineering and analyzing schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively Participate in fabrication and assembly tasks utilising CAD software and fabrication techniques to develop prototypes or repair parts Support product development initiatives by applying mechanical knowledge, math skills, and technical documentation to improve existing systems or develop new solutions.

Qualifications Needed:

You will be expected to have at least 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including English, Maths and Science, and Maths at Grade 5 or above (or their equivalent).

Training Outcome:

Buxton & McNulty Mechanical Services Ltd., became incorporated in April 2005 and was formed to provide Mechanical Services. We specialise in pipework installations covering public health, heating, chilled water, condensate. We offer onsite welding and have a prefabrication shop where pipe can be made to measure and delivered to site.
