We are seeking an accomplished Assistant General Manager / Resort Operations leader to join a prestigious luxury resort community in The Bahamas.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious hospitality professional to act as the senior operational leader and Number Two to the COO/General Manager, bringing structure, accountability and strong day-to-day leadership to a complex luxury operation.

The Role

Oversee day-to-day operations across Hotel Operations, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Engineering & Maintenance and Guest ExperienceDrive operational standards, service delivery and consistency across the resortLead workforce planning, team performance and cross-departmental communicationWork closely with senior leadership to bring structure, accountability and operational insight to the operationServe as the senior on-the-ground leader, ensuring departments are aligned and operating to the highest standardsBe highly visible and hands-on, while maintaining the commercial and leadership perspective expected at an executive levelPartner with the COO/General Manager on strategic and operational prioritiesAct as a key leader in the continued growth and evolution of the resort

The Ideal Candidate

Significant experience within luxury hotels, resorts or large-scale hospitality operationsProven experience managing complex, multi-department operationsStrong operational knowledge across multiple hotel departments3+ years of tenure with previous employers is requiredExcellent leadership and people-management skillsCommercially minded, structured and highly organizedConfident enough to challenge, influence and support senior leadershipHands-on leader with exceptional attention to detailAble to earn the respect of both senior executives and operational teamsCaribbean or island-resort experience highly advantageous
