Salary: £50,000–£60,000

Do you know about the latest restaurant openings, understand what makes a food brand stand out and instinctively know what will create a buzz on social? We’re looking for a talented Social Media Manager to join an exciting hospitality business and take ownership of the social strategy across the brand. This isn’t a role that’s simply about posting content. We’re looking for someone who understands how to tell stories through food and culture, creating a social presence that feels relevant, distinctive and engaging.

What you’ll be doing:

Developing and owning the social media strategyManaging photographers, videographers to deliver the right contentCreating briefs and ensuring content aligns with the wider brand strategyWriting engaging, personality-led copyFinding interesting ways to tell stories through food, people, places and cultureKeeping ahead of restaurant openings, food trends and wider cultural conversationsCreating content around new openings, launches, chefs, dishes, experiences and cultural momentsUsing insights and performance data to understand what is resonating with the audienceBalancing creativity with commercial thinkingContinually evolving the social strategy based on performance, trends and audience behaviour

About You:

Strong social media experience within food, restaurants, hospitality, lifestyleA genuine passion and strong understanding of food and restaurantsExcellent copywriting and storytelling skillsA strong visual eye and understanding of how to build and curate a social feedThe ability to develop a strategy, not simply execute oneStrong analytical skills and an understanding of social performanceA natural balance of creativity and strategic thinkingExperience managing multiple brands or different brand identities would be a bonus
