Kennel Care Assistant Apprenticeship
All aspects of maintaining kennels hygiene to a high standard and complying with licensing guidelines. Cleaning kennels and runs, beds and bedding as well as exercise areas
Feeding, exercising, monitoring health and well-being of all dogs boarding
Customer interaction on dogs’ arrival and departure handovers
Training:
Depending on existing qualifications if any, Level 2 Work Based Animal Care and Welfare Assistant Apprenticeship.
Training will be onsite at Oakwood Park Kennels and online with The College of Animal Welfare (CAW).
Anticipated that online training will be half or one day per week.
Training Outcome:
Possibility of permanent role after the apprenticeship.

Large, busy Dog Boarding Kennels in Berkshire with a dedicated team of canine carers for our valued clients.
Working Hours :
8.20am - 5.30pm including 2 short breaks and 1 hour lunch. Average 38 hours per week over 7 days. Working days to be confirmed, rota will include weekends and Bank Holidays. Christmas and New Year working is normally shared between all staff.
