Are you an ambitious Mechanical Engineer looking to take the next step in your Building Services career?

We're partnering with a well-established and growing multidisciplinary consultancy in London that is looking to appoint an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join its expanding MEP team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile projects across a variety of sectors while receiving mentorship from experienced engineers and gaining greater responsibility in project delivery.

The Opportunity

As part of a collaborative design team, you'll contribute to the delivery of innovative and sustainable mechanical building services solutions across a diverse project portfolio, including:
Commercial workplacesResidential and mixed-use developmentsEducation facilitiesHealthcare environmentsStudent accommodationLeisure and hospitality projectsYou'll be involved throughout the design process, working across multiple RIBA stages and supporting projects from concept through to technical design and delivery.

Key ResponsibilitiesProducing mechanical building services designs and calculationsDeveloping HVAC, public health and energy-efficient design solutionsAssisting with technical specifications and reportsSupporting project delivery across RIBA Stages 2-5Coordinating with electrical engineers, architects and wider design teamsAttending client, design team and project meetingsContributing to sustainable and low-carbon engineering strategiesSupporting site inspections and project reviews where requiredWhat We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
Proven experience within a Building Services or MEP Consultancy environmentExperience delivering mechanical building services designsA degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services EngineeringKnowledge of industry standards, regulations and design practicesExperience using design software such as Hevacomp, IES, Revit or similarAn understanding of projects across various RIBA stagesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive attitude and desire to continue developing technically and professionallyChartership support or progress toward CEng status would be advantageous but is not essential.
