This is a great opportunity to take the lead at a prestigious private members’ club in London, with a genuine Monday to Friday working week and just 37.5 hours.
The food is a big part of the club’s offering, with a strong focus on British produce, seasonal cooking and quality. You’ll have full control of the menus and the freedom to put your own stamp on the food.

You’ll lead a team of 12 chefs and take genuine ownership of the kitchen.
This is not a role where you’ll be tied up with endless service. You’ll have the time and space to focus on the food, your team and the wider operation.
You’ll:
Create and develop seasonal British menusHave full control over the food offeringLead, mentor and develop the kitchen teamMaintain 2 Rosette-level standardsManage GP, labour and complianceDrive consistency and qualityMaintain strong food safety and EHO standardsWork closely with the Chief ExecutiveSit on the senior leadership teamContribute a quarterly feature to the club journalWho We’re Looking For
You’ll be an experienced Head Chef with a strong background in British cooking and quality-led kitchens.
You’ll ideally have worked in a high-end restaurant, hotel, private members’ club or fine dining environment.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has strong British cuisine and produce knowledgeHas proven Head Chef experienceCan lead and develop an established teamUnderstands the commercial side of running a kitchenTakes pride in food quality and standardsIs organised, approachable and a good communicatorIs comfortable working with senior stakeholdersPrivate members’ club experience is desirable but not essential.
