Medical Receptionist

In the Medical Receptionist role, you will be:

Acting as the first point of contact for customers, providing a warm, professional and welcoming service.Managing digital triage queries and support customers in using new online systems.Handling enquiries, appointments, orders and samples efficiently and accurately.Providing day-to-day administrative support using internal systems, Microsoft Outlook, Teams and Calendars.Maintaining a calm and solution-focused approach when dealing with queries or challenging situations.Supporting the wider team with the smooth running of reception and administrative processes.Ensuring information is always recorded accurately and confidentially.

To be successful in the Medical Receptionist role, you will need:

Previous reception and administration experience, ideally gained within a busy customer-facing environment.Confident IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly. EMIS experience is highly desirable.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with conflict calmly and professionally.A proactive and positive approach, with strong problem-solving skills.Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.A professional, approachable and reliable manner.The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.

 

This is a full-time permanent opportunity, working 37 hours per week. Shifts will fall between 8:00am and 6:30pm, with your exact working pattern varying depending on the rota.
