Locum Support Worker

Locum Support WorkerService Care Solutions recruiting for a Locum support worker to work in a block booked agency contract within a residential and supported living service in Castle Cary, Somerset.Hours: Part-time / Full-time Shift Times: Earlies, Lates, Long Days Pay Rates: £13.50 ph Ltd Days - £14 ph Ltd Week Nights - £14.50 ph Ltd Weekends Location: Castle Cary, Somerset £150 Bonus for successful application!Role: To provide emotional and physical care with a five bed residential service.

Clients require support with Cerebral Palsy, autism and a variation of learning disabilities.

We are looking for a candidate within commuting distance and with at least 6 months UK experience who is able to commit to a minimum of 3 shifts a week within an ongoing agency basis.

The team is welcoming and friendly with fantastic support from the manager within a service which has a real family feel to it.

Assisting with domestic activities
Providing emotional support
Following care plans and client routines
Personal care duties

Candidate Requirements:

Preferable to have previous experience within with learning and physical disability support role
Preferable to have NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
Flexible towards shifts
Preferable to have a valid DBS
