Nurse Seekers are delighted to be recruiting for an RVN on behalf of a friendly, independent small animal practice near Alnwick.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a close-knit team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

The practice is independently owned and has built a strong reputation for providing excellent, personalised care to both patients and clients. With a supportive team and a friendly working environment, this is an ideal opportunity for an RVN looking to join a practice where their skills and contribution are genuinely valued.

The Role

Maternity cover on a fixed-term contractSmall animal caseloadFull-time or part-time hours consideredVaried nursing responsibilities including theatre, inpatient care, nurse clinics and general nursing dutiesWorking alongside an experienced and supportive veterinary teamExcellent standards of patient and client care

About You

We are looking for an RVN who is:

RCVS registeredExperienced in small animal practiceCompassionate and patient-focusedConfident working both independently and as part of a teamA strong communicator with excellent client-care skillsEnthusiastic and keen to contribute to a friendly practice environment

Newly qualified RVNs are also encouraged to apply, provided they have the right attitude and enthusiasm for the role.
