Health Care Assistant (HCA) Location: Walsall Job Type: Part time Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour About the Role We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our dedicated team in Walsall. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing at all times. Key Responsibilities - Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. - Support individuals with mobility and daily living activities. - Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration where required. - Observe and report any changes in health or wellbeing. - Maintain accurate care records and documentation. - Promote independence, dignity, and choice. - Work collaboratively with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and families. Essential Requirements - Previous care experience is essential. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - A caring, compassionate, and professional approach. - Ability to work effectively as part of a team. - Flexibility and reliability to work shifts. - Right to work in the UK. Desirable Requirements - CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training preferred but not essential. - NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care. - Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, learning disabilities, or mental health conditions.
