Business Administrator Apprentice

Answering incoming calls from clients, families and new enquiries, taking clear messages and passing urgent matters to the right person Making changes to client visit schedules in our client management system and keeping client records accurate and up to date Managing our enquiry pipeline: logging new enquiries, following them up and making sure nothing is missed Writing and sending letters and emails to local authority contacts, community organisations and referral partners Making outbound calls to potential clients and partner organisations to introduce our services Visiting community centres, GP surgeries, libraries and local groups to build relationships Preparing documents, reports and spreadsheets, and helping to keep our filing and record keeping in good order Supporting the team with general office administration and helping to improve the way we do things

Training:

On the job training delivered by the employer.

Apprentices without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end point assessment. For those with an education, health and care plan or a legacy statement, the apprenticeships English and mathematics minimum requirement is Entry Level 3.

Allocation of an apprenticeship delivery coach who will carry out regular training.

Assessment and support visits to ensure you acquire new learning, knowledge skills and behaviours in order to progress and develop.
Identify, track and support 6 hours off the job training activities.

Quarterly formal progress review meetings, identifying learning achievements and next steps.



Training Outcome:

On successful completion there is a permanent role available for the right person. As Ellia grows, this role could develop into Care Coordinator, managing schedules and client relationships across the whole service, or into a business development or office management role. Some of our team also move into support work or take further qualifications in leadership and management.



Employer Description:

Ellia is a Stroud based community support service. We support people to stay independent and comfortable in their own homes through cleaning, decluttering, housekeeping, gardening and companionship. We now support around 65 households across Gloucestershire and are growing steadily, with our team of local support workers at the centre of everything we do. We are a small, close business where everyone's work is visible and everyone's ideas are heard. We believe good support starts with treating people, both clients and staff, as individuals.



Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 3.30pm, with a 30 minute break. Occasional flexibility needed for community events or drop offs. No evenings or weekends.
