Location: Germany, location flexible. European travel required.

Salary: €70,000 – €85,000 + performance bonus

Languages: Fluent German and English required

An exciting opportunity to join a growing European hospitality group as Head of Engineering, leading technical operations across a portfolio of hotels. This is a senior leadership role combining engineering strategy, project delivery, and operational excellence in a fast-paced international environment.

The Role

Lead engineering, maintenance, and technical operations across multiple hotel properties.Oversee renovations, refurbishments, rebranding projects, and new hotel developments.Drive CAPEX projects, infrastructure improvements, and energy efficiency initiatives.Develop and implement technical standards across the hotel portfolio.Lead and support on-site engineering teams and external contractors.Ensure compliance with health & safety, building regulations, and sustainability standards.Partner closely with Operations, Development, and Finance teams to support business growth.

About You

Previous experience in a senior engineering or technical leadership role within hospitality, real estate, or multi-site operations.Strong knowledge of building services, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.Proven experience managing projects, budgets, and contractors.Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem solving.Willingness to travel across the European hotel portfolio.Fluent German and English are essential.
