We’re working with a growing food manufacturing business looking for a Quality & Compliance Supervisor who wants to be involved in more than just day-to-day quality checks.

You’ll have the opportunity to help create new products, improve quality standards, influence food safety and work closely with the Technical Manager and wider production team.

This is a genuinely varied position where you’ll be involved from product concept right through to launch, while also playing a key role in maintaining and improving site quality and food safety standards.

You won’t be stuck behind a desk. You’ll work across NPD, suppliers, production, quality, audits and continuous improvement, giving you fantastic exposure and the chance to build your technical career.

YOUR IMPACT

You’ll be responsible for:

Taking NPD projects from concept to launchCoordinating suppliers, specifications, samples and technical informationKeeping product specifications and development files accurate and up to dateWorking with customers to coordinate samples and project requirementsSupporting the Technical Manager with food safety and quality systemsMonitoring production standards and identifying opportunities to improveInvestigating quality issues and driving corrective actionsSupporting supplier approval and maintaining technical recordsGetting involved in BRCGS, customer and internal auditsManaging traceability exercises and supporting recall proceduresDelivering training around GMP, quality and food safetyHelping drive a culture of continuous improvement

ABOUT YOU

We’re not looking for someone who simply ticks boxes.

We want someone who is curious, organised, hands-on and keen to make things better.

You’ll ideally have:

Experience within food or drinks manufacturingA background in QA, Technical, Compliance or NPDKnowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety legislation and quality systemsStrong organisation and project management skillsExcellent communication skillsConfidence working with production teams, suppliers and colleaguesA proactive approach to problem-solvingGood IT / Microsoft Office skills

HACCP, Internal Auditor, BRCGS or retailer technical experience would be a bonus.
