Semi Static electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Commercial Building – City of London – up to £45,000 + Package

An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in the City of London has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer based in a commercial building in the morning and a few sites in the afternoon around the City of London. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression.

Package & working hours
A basic salary of up to £45,000Monday to Friday - 08:00 am - 17:00 pm (08:00am -12:00pm static on one site, 12:00pm - 17:00pm foot mobile)Travel paidPlenty of overtime 22 days holiday + Bank HolidaysCompany Pension SchemeExcellent career progression opportunitiesKey Duties & Responsibilities
Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)Emergency lighting testsControl PanelsChanging BallastBMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenanceMaintain and update Log booksPlumbing - Unblocking toiletsPumps, motorsCompliance and logbooksChillers and pressurisation unitsUndertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.Escort specialist subcontractorsRequirements
Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3City & Guilds - 18th EditionMust be able to provide copies of your trade certificatesA proven track record in commercial building maintenanceMulti-skilledGood communication skillsClient Facing
