Sous Chef, Greenwich, London, £37,000 inclusive of tronc

We are looking for a talented Sous Chef to join the kitchen team of a unique wine bar and restaurant in Greenwich.

This is a hands-on role working with fresh, seasonal produce and a British-led menu. The venue has a strong focus on quality, with an à la carte restaurant alongside private events and other food-led occasions.

As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to deliver consistently high standards across the kitchen. You will be involved in daily service, menu development, prep and ordering, while helping to lead and support the wider kitchen team.

What we’re looking for

Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous ChefA solid background in fresh food kitchensGood knowledge of British and seasonal cookingSomeone who enjoys working with quality ingredientsA hands-on chef who leads from the frontGood organisation and communication skillsComfortable working across both restaurant service and eventsA positive approach and the ability to work well within a small team

The opportunity

You’ll be joining a distinctive Greenwich venue with a relaxed wine bar and restaurant atmosphere, a seasonal food offering and a varied operation that includes both à la carte dining and events.

Salary is £37,000 inclusive of tronc.
