Cleaner Location: London Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Salary: £12.71 per hour About the Role We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness within supported housing and residential accommodation settings across London. The successful candidate will help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities - Clean and maintain communal areas, offices, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and other designated spaces. - Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitise surfaces to a high standard. - Empty bins and dispose of waste and recycling appropriately. - Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies as required. - Report maintenance issues, hazards, and health and safety concerns. - Follow cleaning schedules and company procedures. - Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations. Requirements Essential - Previous cleaning experience. - Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy. - Strong communication skills. - Right to work in the UK. Desirable - Experience cleaning in residential, hostel, supported housing, healthcare, or social care environments. - Knowledge of COSHH and safe use of cleaning products. - Understanding of infection control and hygiene standards. - Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures in the workplace. - Ability to identify and report maintenance issues. - Experience working with vulnerable adults or diverse communities. - Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends if required.
