Planning vehicle routesSupervising a growing teamSupervising loading of vehicles and ensuring they are compliant with vehicle weight lawsCompleting relevant paperworkAssisting with loading when requiredGeneral housekeeping – ensuring areas are always clean and tidyCompletion of special projects and tasks as directed by your managerEnsuring you and staff you are supervising comply with the companies Health & Safety requirementsPersonal protective clothing and equipment (PPE) to be always worn
Person Specification – Evening Load Supervisor:
Able to Supervise a team of up to 10 employeesExperience in a Transport office environmentExperience working in a warehouse environmentForklift truck licences (Reach and Counterbalance preferred)Physically fitProfessional and positiveReliable and dependable with good time keeping skillsAble to work well within a team, as well as independentlyAttention to detailGood communication skillsAbility to work well under pressureA can-do attitude
