Special Projects and Defects Manager Permanent London £50,726.00 - £34,346.00 per annumWe have an exciting opportunity for a Special Projects and Defects Manager to join the team of a public sector organisation based in London.My client has a growing programme of major works projects across its housing stock.

They have an approved programme of £60m in 2023/24 and £50m in 2024/25.

These projects will have a significant impact in improving homes and estates for residents and the wider community.You will be responsible for leading several projects across a range of schemes including building safety, energy efficiency & sustainability and decency works.

You will also take a lead on special projects and defects management.To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced housing project manager able to manage and motivate a project team to delivery high quality, value for money projects.

Your ability to communicate with colleagues, stakeholders and residents will be a key skill in delivering projects.

You will have an excellent understanding of social housing asset management and the need to work closely with colleagues, stakeholders and residents to deliver a varied programme of work to maintain the housing stock to the highest standard.

You will possess an excellent understanding of the interface between the Major Works team and housing management, day to day repairs and leaseholder services teams, while demonstrating a high standard of customer service.My client is looking for someone with project management experience, a knowledge of contract management, a technical discipline and understanding of the Building Regulations and experience managing planned and major works projects across social housing stock.For further information and to apply then please contact Deanna at Insignis on 02392322381 and email a copy of your most recent CV
