The Assistant General Manager role:

Working closely with the General Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the venue, leading the team, maintaining high service standards and ensuring the operation delivers both commercially and operationally.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being visible on the floor, developing people and taking ownership of the operation.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the General Manager across the full day-to-day operationLeading, coaching and developing a large front-of-house teamManaging service across the bar, restaurant and food hall areasDriving customer service, operational and brand standardsSupporting commercial performance, labour and cost controlManaging busy services, events and peak trading periodsTaking responsibility for the operation in the GM's absence

Requirements:

Strong background within a busy bar, restaurant, food hall or similar hospitality environmentPrevious Assistant General Manager, Deputy GM or strong senior management experienceConfident leading large teams in a high-volume operationHands-on, visible and commercially minded management stylePassionate about service, people and delivering a great guest experienceAmbitious and keen to progress within a growing business
