Electrical Engineer

This Electrical Test Engineer position is with one of the world’s largest and most reputable chemical and FMCG manufacturers.

Operating on a state-of-the-art site in Port Sunlight, the company is continuing to invest millions of pounds on site into brand new innovative equipment, focused on automation and robotics.The company manufactures some of the world’s most recognisable brands from their upper-tier COMAH sites.

Strong investment into this site has led to the development of a world leading project and asset care team, regularly tasked with multi-million-pound projects.

With the addition of a Electrical Test Engineer they are looking at strengthening this team.Dimensions of the Electrical Test Engineer position;

Conduct fixed wiring inspection and trials across the full site.
Report all inspection findings accurately utilising site systems.
Ensure all inspection records are maintained accurately within the S&TS team filing structure.
Conduct trials and inspection on lighting systems.
Support on small scale installation works by managing a team utilising the correct company contact procedures.



To be successful in this position as the Electrical Test Engineer candidates will need to be electrically qualified to a City and Guilds level.

I will consider candidates with five years of experience working in a similar role within an industrial environment.The Electrical Test Engineer must be familiar with the requirements of BS5266 for emergency lighting installations.

The Electrical Test Engineer must be able to fully understand/read line diagrams.
