ACCA Senior Accountant – Remote, UK Client

Salary: PhP95,000–PhP150,000 per month, depending on experience

The business works closely with clients across the UK and is known for providing a personal, high-quality service while building long-term client relationships.
They are now looking for an experienced ACCA Senior Accountant based in the Philippines to support their UK practice and take ownership of a varied client portfolio.
The Role
This is a senior, client-facing accounting position suited to someone with strong UK accounting practice experience who can work independently and manage client work from start to finish.
You’ll be responsible for preparing and reviewing accounts and tax work, supporting clients directly, and providing guidance to junior team members.
This is a great opportunity for an ACCA-qualified accountant in the Philippines looking to work fully remotely with UK clients and gain further international practice experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of UK clients and act as a key point of contactPrepare and review year-end accounts and financial statementsPrepare and review UK corporation tax and personal tax returnsPrepare and review VAT returnsReview bookkeeping and accounting recordsReview junior accountants’ work and provide guidance and feedbackRespond to client queries and provide day-to-day accounting supportLiaise with UK clients and relevant authorities where requiredIdentify tax planning and advisory opportunitiesSupport new client onboarding and client accounting processesPrepare management accounts and financial reports where requiredMaintain accurate and up-to-date client recordsWork with cloud accounting software and contribute to process improvements
About You
We’re looking for an experienced accountant who is confident working independently, enjoys client interaction, and has a strong understanding of UK accounting and tax requirements.
Ideally, you will have:
ACCA qualified status or equivalent professional qualificationStrong experience working within a UK accountancy practice or supporting UK clientsIdeally 3+ years of relevant post-qualification experienceExperience managing your own client portfolioStrong knowledge of UK accounts, corporation tax, VAT, and personal taxExperience preparing and reviewing financial statementsExperience reviewing work and supporting junior accountantsStrong client communication and relationship-building skillsExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsGood commercial awareness and a proactive approachExperience with cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Dext, or similarStrong Microsoft Excel skillsComfortable working with international clients and UK-based teamsAble to work effectively in a fully remote environment
