We're partnered with a well-established QSR franchise organization looking for a Managing Director – Canada to lead operations across a significant national portfolio.

With 350+ locations across Canada, this is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving operational performance, franchisee relationships, team development, and continued growth across the Canadian market.

The role reports directly to the VP, International Operations and will work closely with senior leadership and franchise partners across the country.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading the overall Canadian QSR operation across 350+ locationsDeveloping and executing the Canadian operational strategyBuilding strong relationships with franchisees and key business partnersDriving sales, profitability, operational standards, and guest experienceEnsuring consistent execution of brand standards across the Canadian portfolioIdentifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and franchisee profitabilitySupporting new store openings and continued network growthPartnering with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and long-term growthEnsuring operations remain compliant with provincial employment and labour legislationTraveling across Canada to visit locations, meet franchisees, and support the field team

What We're Looking For

Significant senior leadership experience within QSRFranchise experience is a MUSTProven experience leading large, multi-unit or national restaurant operations, ideally 300+ storesExperience working across multiple Canadian provincesStrong knowledge of Canadian provincial labour and employment legislationProven ability to build strong relationships with franchiseesStrong commercial and financial acumenHighly analytical with a track record of using data to drive performanceStrategic thinker who can also operate effectively in the fieldComfortable working in a highly mobile, national role
