Building Surveyor
A client within the Public Sector based in Warwickshire is currently recruiting for a Building Surveyor to join their Assets team as soon as possible.
The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority.
The Role
Key purpose of the role to maintain and improve the client’s property portfolio and housing stock.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
To carry out the planning, specification, procurement, implementation, management, and delivery of a variety of planned work projects
undertake stock condition surveys, measured surveys, defect inspections, project management or post-inspections
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require:
HNC, HND, Degree relevant to the built environment
3 years’ experience of working for a local authority, housing provider or other appropriate provider in a relevant field
The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
Sound technical knowledge of Fire Safety, Asbestos, Building Services including Gas, Mechanical & Electrical services.
Experience of contributing towards formulation, implementation, and delivery of investment programmes.
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £19.63 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
