For the successful Fabricator Welder our client is offering:

The role - Fabricator Welder

Fabricating structural components.Plate perpetration, using different methods (Oxy – fuel gas cutting & Hand Grinding), pressure testing, drilling & lock fitting)Fit, fair and tack weld steelworkReading and interpreting engineering drawings.Operating various tools and machinery.Assembling the parts into a structure, usually by welding it, but sometimes using bolts and rivetsFinishing off the assembly, using tools like grinders and polishers to smooth the surfaceEnsuring high-quality standards are met.Following health and safety protocols

What our client is looking for in a Fabricator Welder :

City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent in fabrication or welding / PlatingProven expertise in fabrication and welding. ESSENTIALProven experience in the Marine / Nuclear / Steel fabrication / Off-shore / Petro-chemical or Construction industries - ESSENTIALPrevious experience with Heavy Gauge Fabrication/ Plating work - ESSENTIALSignificant experience in structural steel fabrication - BENEFICIALAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings.
