Apprentice Air Conditioning Service Engineer
Traveling to and from site
Assisting service and repair & planned maintenance of air conditioning systems
Cleaning casings
Cleaning filters
Shadowing experienced engineers to learn the role
Replacing pumps (once trained and capable)
Replacing parts (once trained and capable)
Completing paperwork and keeping job records up to date
Following health and safety procedures on site
Training:
Refrigeration Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Engineering Technician Level 3.
Training is delivered by GLP Training through a mixture of work-based learning and online sessions every 4-weeks, consisting of group masterclasses and 1-2-1s. You'll also travel to Worcester every 12-weeks for a 2-day block release. Throughout the programme, you'll receive regular support and dedicated off-the-job training as part of your working week.
Training Outcome:
Subject to competence and performance, the apprentice will have a clear pathway to progress into a Junior Service Engineer.

Working Hours :
40-hours a week, plus regular overtime several times a week. Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday working. Exact working hours TBC.
