Housing Register Advisor

Are you a confident communicator with excellent customer service and administration skills? We have an exciting opportunity to join a busy Housing Register team as a Housing Register Advisor, providing advice and support to customers across North Wales.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll be the first point of contact for customers seeking housing options advice and support. You’ll provide guidance, assess applications and work closely with other teams and agencies to help customers access the right services.

In the Housing Register Advisor role, you will be:

Providing friendly and professional advice to customers by telephone and face-to-faceResponding to housing enquiries, relocation requests and complaintsAssessing applications for eligibility in line with policies and proceduresMaintaining accurate customer and application recordsLiaising with other departments and external agencies to support customersDealing professionally with enquiries from senior managers, elected representatives and members of the publicAttending meetings and panels as requiredProduce reports and support the wider Housing Register team

To be considered for the Housing Register Advisor role, you will need:

Previous customer-facing experienceStrong administration and telephone skillsConfident using Microsoft OfficeExcellent organisation and attention to detailAbility to manage competing prioritiesA calm, professional and empathetic approachAbility to handle sensitive and challenging situationsA full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes

 This is a full-time temporary vacancy, initially for around 6 weeks, working Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. The role is office-based near Colwyn Bay and offers a pay rate of from £13.82 per hour, depending on previous skills and experience + holiday pay.
