We are currently partnering with a globally renowned manufacturing business on their business growth, and part of that is the requirement for more skilled staff including this vacancy for a Test Engineer.



The group this business is a part of service some of the globes largest and most critical industries, and the company itself has existed for well over a century.

The Test Engineer will be reporting directly to the Engineering Manager and will include a structured development process, utilising core engineering skills and abilities to test and develop company processes.

Key responsibilities as Test Engineer:

- Perform product development testing while working with the R&D Techs, Design Engineers and Engineering Manager
- Produce test parameters design for the validation of new products
- Develop and produce product specific test equipment
- Understand, interpret and apply relevant industry standards to designs for company clients
- Create test reports to ensure the maintenance of work traceability
- Be pivotal in new product and R&D concept work
- Provide technical support and training for sales engineers and customers

Experience as Test Engineer:

- Qualified to degree level within Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience of successful delivery within a similar position
- Strong knowledge of materials, stress analysis and mechanical assembly
- In depth understanding of precision engineering and machining methods
- Sound understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD, FEA, CFD, AuotCAD, Inventor, Ansys and MS Office
- Driven and motivated individual with a proactive approach
