Reconcile and agree bank
Analyse bank receipts and payment
Review and prepare schedules for debtors, creditors, directors loan
Prepare fixed assets, including depreciation
Analyse key profit and loss data
Bookkeeping
Preparing VAT returns for manager review
Filing VAT returns (Xero & One Click)
Preparation of company corporation tax returns to draft stage
Training:
The successful candidate will undertake a full review of their existing skills versus what is required in their new role. First Intuition will then advise on the best apprenticeship programme for them. This will be a structured AAT Apprenticeship programme at Level 2, 3 or 4 (depending on the candidate’s experience and knowledge).
A blend of classroom and online training will support the candidate to achieve a well-recognised accountancy qualification which will both help with their new role and potentially lead on to further study.
Training Outcome:
Successful apprentices will have the opportunity to progress within the firm, continue their professional studies and develop into a qualified accountant with increasing client responsibility.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday – standard working hours are 9am to 5pm (we offer flexibility).
