Supply Chain Operative Apprentice
Throughout the apprenticeship, the successful candidate will be trained to:
Receive, check and safely store incoming deliveries Pick and issue materials to production teams Replenish warehouse, lineside and electrical stock locations Assist with inventory control and stock counting activities Maintain accurate stock records using the company's inventory management system Help identify and resolve stock shortages and material discrepancies Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment Support continuous improvement activities within the stores department Assist with waste management and general housekeeping Learn safe manual handling techniques and warehouse best practices Work with other departments to ensure materials are available when required Learn how to safely operate warehouse equipment (including Fork Lift Trucks, where appropriate and subject to age, training and certification) Support deliveries and collections as requiredTraining:
You will study at Kirklees College located in Huddersfield.
Training Outcome:
You will work towards a nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification while gaining valuable hands-on experience within a growing manufacturer of specialist emergency vehicles.
