Advanced Apprentice - Financial Services (Cash & Salary Overpayments)

To use the finance computerised systems and be able to interrogate and reconcile, and balancing various control codes / accounts. Support the reconciliation of interfaces from other systems both financial and non-financial into the financial system and provide auditable reconciliation of the feeds. Post holder will work within set routines and procedures with supervision and advice will be available as required working within the SFIs and Scheme of Delegations, as well as national and local guidance. To assist in reviewing and updating all procedures relating to the duties of this post when appropriate. To assist the Financial Services team in all aspects of its day to day duties to ensure deadlines are achieved.

Training:
Formal training is delivered at HWGTA, located McKenzie Way, Worcester, WR4 9GN. You will receive a training plan that is specific to your qualification, with sessions that are delivered through a combination of face-to-face and remote. Additional training for functional skills in English and maths will be undertaken if needed. You will receive monthly visits from your assigned Learning and Development Specialist, who will set you work, monitor your development and wellbeing, and discuss training sessions. They will also prepare you for your End Point Assessment to gain your Assistant Accountant Level 3 qualification.

Training Outcome:

Progression can be discussed upon successful completion of apprenticeship.
