Apprentice Adult Care Worker

Prestige Nursing and Care Redhill is keen to speak with kind and compassionate people. You don't necessarily need to have a professional carer background - if you have looked after anyone, you probably already have many of the skills for care and we can provide training to fill any gaps.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting with personal care and daily routines Assisting with medication Preparing meals and supporting with nutrition Helping with shopping and household tasks Providing companionship and emotional support Supporting clients to access the community and maintain independence

Who you will be:

Someone who can be flexible in their approach as the clients you will look after have a range of individual needs, so no two days are the same A compassionate, friendly and empathic person who will revel in the idea of supporting others to fulfil their lives A driver with a full licence and transport able to travel between clients Someone who has either already got an advanced DBS Certificate/PVG or understands they will need to undertake these before they start Someone who will commit fully to the apprenticeship and the role from the start

Training:

Adult Care Worker Level 2.



Training Outcome:

A permanent position would be available on successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
35 hours per week with flexibility around shifts and study. Typically, Monday - Sunday either 7am - 2pm or 3pm - 10pm daily to be agreed.
