Care Assistant Apprentice
Deliver person‑centred care, promoting dignity, choice, independence and wellbeing
Support residents with personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting and mobility
Assist with nutrition and hydration, including mealtime support
Help residents engage in social, recreational and wellbeing activities
Learn to recognise and respond to changes in residents’ physical, emotional and mental health
Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues
Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Complete care records accurately under supervision
Take part in team meetings, supervision and development reviews
Follow all policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements
Help maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment
Training:
Training & observations to be delivered all in the workplace. Reviews to happen every 10 weeks in person.
Training Outcome:

Working Hours :
You’ll work on a rolling rota across seven days, including weekends and shift work, with two days off each week.
