Field Service Apprentice

Support planned maintenance and outage work on gas turbines, steam turbines, valves and related equipment. Assist with the safe disassembly, inspection, repair and reassembly of mechanical equipment. Learn to use engineering tools, drawings, specifications and maintenance documentation correctly. Develop practical fitting, measurement, fault-finding and turbine-blading skills under appropriate supervision. Follow Mitsubishi Power procedures, quality standards, site rules and safe systems of work. Record work accurately and raise concerns, defects or unsafe conditions promptly. Work positively with colleagues, customers, contractors and local site teams. Travel to customer sites in the UK and, as your capability develops, potentially elsewhere in Europe and internationally. 

Training:

Your learning will be completed through a combination of supervised, hands-on work at our customer sites in the UK and overseas, together with the required off-the-job training delivered through distance learning. You must commit to completing all required training, learning and assessments.



Training Outcome:

Develop a career maintaining our Gas and Steam Turbine fleet, at our customer sites across UK, Europe and further afield.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm. However, when working on site hours may include some evenings and weekends.
