Level 3 Machining Technician Apprentice - Site and Field Services Ltd

Operate and maintain a variety of machine tools and engineering equipment.
Manufacture precision components using both manual and CNC machining techniques.
Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and work instructions.
Select appropriate tools, materials and machining methods for engineering tasks.
Carry out inspection and measurement activities using precision measuring equipment.
Perform routine machine maintenance and assist with fault finding.
Work safely and effectively in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.
Support the repair, refurbishment and manufacture of engineering components.
Understand quality control processes and continuous improvement techniques.
Contribute to engineering projects within the workshop and, where appropriate, on customer sites.



Training:

4 days per week at Site and Field Services Ltd 

1 day per week at Newcastle College 



Training Outcome:

The opportunity for continued employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, subject to satisfactory performance and business needs.

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm Friday: 7:30am – 3:00pm Total: 39 hours per week
