Fabrication/Welding Production Apprentice
Your training and responsibilities as a Production Apprentice, will include (but not be limited to) the following:
Carry out welding activities including use of a MIG welder, and other ancillary machinery and equipment Creating fabrications, such as metal balustrades, staircases and handrails Accurately follow job cards and update accordingly Understand and read engineering drawings/symbols Ensure correct marking up of component parts Work to quality standards required for the components Weld joints in accordance with quality requirements Undertake final inspections of finished components/products Assisting with warehousing duties and packaging goods Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area for colleagues and yourself When trained, ensure job timings are met/exceededYou’ll learn side-by-side with experienced engineers who are passionate about sharing their knowledge, giving you hands-on exposure to a wide range of tasks and a real understanding of how the whole business operates. Training:
The successful candidate will continue their studies with apprenticeship specialists, RNN Group at one of their campuses on a day release format, giving you the training and support you need to become an all-rounded and successful Engineer.
